Immigration Services at Waseer Law Office:

Our legal team at Waseer Law Office understands that navigating complex and ever-changing immigration laws can be overwhelming. Immigration laws are frequently updated, and the legal landscape is continually evolving, making it challenging for immigrants to stay informed and up to date with the latest legal requirements. That’s why our team of immigration professionals is here to help. Be assured that your concern is our utmost priority, and we are giving it our undivided attention. Our team assists clients in all types of immigration matters, such as work permits, spousal sponsorships, citizenship applications, and other immigration-related matters.

Multiple legal disciplines, including criminal, family, and employment law, may be involved with immigration legislation. For example, immigration law may intersect with criminal law in cases where an immigrant has a criminal record or is facing criminal charges. Similarly, immigration law may intersect with family law in cases involving marriage-based immigration or child custody issues. They can also involve numerous government agencies and procedures. Immigrants must navigate a range of legal requirements, such as obtaining visas, adjusting their status, or obtaining citizenship, all of which involve extensive paperwork and procedures that can be confusing and difficult to navigate, which is why it is important to have an experienced attorney on your side. Our team stays up-to-date on the latest developments in immigration law and will apply our knowledge in helping you achieve your goals.

There are three main ways to come to Canada: with the intention to visit, the intention to work, and the intention to become a Permanent Resident. If you or a loved one is intending to simply visit Canada, we can assure you that we will formulate a strong visitor visa or super visa application. If you wish to work in Canada indefinitely, we can assess your situation to determine your eligibility for LMIA approval and work permit and guide you through the application process. If you are hoping to become a Permanent Resident of Canada, we can determine which category you fit in out of the three Express Entry levels: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Trades Worker, or Federal Skilled Worker.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a program designed for individuals who have gained skilled job experience in Canada and wish to become permanent citizens. Candidates must meet language criteria, have at least 67 points on the CRS, and have at least a year of skilled job experience in Canada to be eligible for this program. If you have international work experience and are skilled, you can apply for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) category to live and work in Canada. To qualify for this program, candidates need to meet language requirements, score at least 67 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), and have a minimum of one year of skilled work experience in their field. The Federal Talented Trades Program (FSTP), which is the last option, is for talented tradesmen who desire to settle in Canada permanently.

To qualify for this program, applicants must have at least two years of work experience in a skilled trade, meet language requirements, and have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial authority. Each of these programs has different eligibility criteria, and candidates are assessed using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to determine their eligibility for permanent residency in Canada. Additionally, we have the ability to swiftly assist you in sponsoring a spouse and/or loved one(s). If you have a qualifying business and wish to enter Canada’s Start-up Visa Program, we can help you review your eligibility and put together an application.  Whether you are seeking a visa, facing deportation, or need help with any other immigration-related matter, we are guaranteed to possess the knowledge and experience to help you.

We empathize that immigration matters can be stressful and emotional. Immigrants often face personal and emotional challenges, such as leaving their families, adapting to a new culture, and navigating language barriers, which can further complicate the legal process. That’s why we provide our clients with compassionate and dedicated representation. We will work to ensure that your rights are protected and that you receive the best results possible. We understand that the outcome of your case can have a significant impact on your life, and we will fight to see that your voice is heard.

At Waseer Law Office, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality legal representation, regardless of their background or circumstances. We will work with you to understand your unique situation and tailor our services to meet your specific needs.
